Tea is the surplus of Makaibari holistic sustainable community project that we share with the rest of the world!

We make orthodox the best black teas, high quality green teas, white and Oolong, speciality teas that are shipped to all corners of the globe.

Over the last 40 years, we have developed more types of teas than the whole of Darjeeling district combined, and in the future we hope to bring you more such delicacies to tickle your taste buds.

Makaibari manufactures 6 types of patented organic/biodynamic certified leaf grade teas that are not available anywhere else. The 2015 new designed packets include the world record holding Silver Tips Imperial, the highly coveted Springtime Bloom (First Flush), the Summer Solstice Muscatel (Second Flush), Darj-Oolong, Bai-Mu-Dan (White Tea), and Silver Green.

Moore's ingredients/USA regularly conducts Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC), tests randomly on food and beverages from supermarket shelves. ORAC tests are a measure of polyphenols and catechins. Polyphenols are anti-oxidants which fight oxidants that cause human health setbacks. Catechins are anti-carcinogenic.  Traditionally cranberries are scientifically established to have the highest ORAC value. An ORAC test in 2006 on Makaibari green tea revealed that  Makaibari Green tea had twice the ORAC value of cranberries. But also our black teas, as well as the Bai mu Dan and the semifermented, have high antioxidant and very low caffeine.
